"At any price" debutes in LA

Sony Classic drama film "At Any Price" was premiered with its cast and crew in Egyptian theatre Tuesday in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

In film "At Any Price", starring Dennis Quaid, the action hero known by "G.I. Joe: the Rise of Cobra" and Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron, the two totally gave out one of their best performances.

The debute won good reviews, and it has gotten the entry ticket to compete for the Golden Lion Award at the 69th Venice international film festival.

"Dannis has a huge history of amazing films,‘Far From Heaven, and I thought it's an iconic way to turn his statue upside down, he wouldn't be such a hero, he could be in this film and be antihero, there is something quite nasty about his character and I thought he could twist that upside down."

The film presented the audience an ambitious Henry Whipple, who requires his son Dean to expand his family's farming empire in the modern agriculture world.

However, Dean was borned to be rebel, and has his sights set on becoming a professional race car driver.

Eventually, Whipple family attempted to be succeed in the farming business by hook or by crook.  

When a high-stakes investigation into their business, father and son are pushed into an unexpected crisis that threatens the family's entire livelihood.

Except of applying for the Venice International film festival, the film also made its appearance on Toronto International film festival and Telluride Film festival, where the film received positive reviews from both.

The film will hit theatres on April 24.
