As a panda keeper, Chenmin has been working in Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base for 14 years.

According to the zoo, the center only had twenty pandas when Chenmin first arrived, rescued starving from the wild, it now counts 113 permenant residents.

Lifestyles has more.

Wake up at 6 o'clock in the morning and only get three or four hours to rest in a day during giant pandas' breeding season, this is how Chenmin works.

"To be honest, it is not an easy job to do. As a panda keeper,we need to be attentive and responsible. If we can't do this, it is possible that the giant panda might've escaped or people will get hurt by pandas. So the job is very demanding."

Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base has only 20 giant pandas when Chenmin firstly came here. And the number now has risen to 113.

Chenmin has four panda babies Miaomiao,Aoliao,Chengshuang and Chengdui in Sunshine Nursery House of Giant Panda Breeding Base.

Chengshuang and Chengdui are twins and Aoliao is the eldest.

"Chengdui is a naughty child who is fond of playing with people."

All the giant pandas are premature infants, in most of the cases, their mother abandoned them when they were born.

At these times, Chenmin gets them out and feeds them with little milk bottles, as baby pandas need 24 hours'care and they drink milk every hour.

As an experienced panda keeper, Chenmin does all the things on her own until they grow elder.

"Many people work hard for giant panda in different sections of their lives. For example, the panda babies were taken care of by me for the moment, but when they're getting bigger, we will transfer them to other places for training."

Although the job is tough, Chenmin has a deep affection for giant pandas in years.

"Pandas can understand your feelings and love for them. Especially the babies, they often play with you when you get close. That makes me forget all the worries and unhappiness."
