Well, if you are a big fan of pandas, this is good news for you.

A 24-hour live online TV channel - the "Giant Panda Channel" has been established.

From August, Internet users around the world will be able to watch live broadcasts of giant pandas living in southwest China's Sichuan Province around-the-clock.

According to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on Sunday, the giant panda channel's website is ipanda.com.

The live pictures are captured by 28 high definition video cameras installed in the base, which record the daily activities of more than 80 giant pandas living there.

Apart from live streaming, online viewers can also choose from six feeds, including "garden for adult pandas," "kindergarten," and "mother and child playground," to watch file videos.

So far, the Chinese-language version is ready to use, but the English site is still under construction and will be available in August.

The website started posting video clips on June 24 for trial and has since attracted nearly 15,000 Internet users.
