Jordan has carried out a second day of airstrikes on Islamic State targets in Syria in revenge for the killing of a Jordanian pilot by the insurgent group.
The group claims a female American hostage was killed when Jordanian fighter jets bombed a building where she was being held.
However, both the U.S. and Jordan have expressed doubt about the militants' account of her death.
