Beijing's bid for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games has entered a decisive phase, as the International Olympic Committee's Evaluation Commission is in the Chinese capital for an evaluation visit.
Chongli County of Zhangjiakou, co-host city of Beijing, will play host to most of the snow events if Beijing wins the bid.
It's been a snowy winter for Chongli, a small county about 200 kilometers northwest of Beijing.
Chongli has witnessed a booming skiing market after Beijing and Zhangjiakou announced a joint bid for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in 2013.
With a population of 120,000, Chongli has become one of the top skiing resorts in China.
