A member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong says a new entry policy which caps the trips made by residents from neighboring Shenzhen city will contribute to tourism.

Starting from Monday, Shenzhen residents are allowed one Hong Kong visit a week, compared with an unlimited number of daily trips previously.

Lee Wai-king, a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, says Hong Kong is a small city with limited capability. The new entry policy will help tourists better enjoy their time in the city.
