NYC bike program hits 10 mln trips

New York's Citi Bike program, the busiest bike sharing network in the US, has logged in more than 10 million trips in 2015.
According to the Mayor office, the bike share network, which allows users to rent one of 7,500 bikes at 460 stations around the city, has been the busiest bike share program across the country.
Beginning in May 2013, the blue bike program has been rapidly expanding. 
Ridership in 2015 has surged 24 percent over 2014.
By the end of 2017, it is expected to share 12,000 bikes in 700 stations.
