MUNICH, July 25 (Xinhua) -- The explosion in southern German city of Ansbach late Sunday night that killed one and injured 11 was not a gas explosion, but was caused by an explosive device, local media Nordbayern reported, citing mayor Carda Seidel.

It is still unclear how many explosions there are, whether it is an attack, who lit the explosive device, according to Seidel.
