News cameras were rolling when an unmanned boat plunged over a dam on Lake Arbutus (ARB-YOU-TIS) in Hatfield, Wisconsin.

Heavy rain caused water levels to quickly rise two to three feet.

The boat is one of many that became unattached and the current swept them away.
People stood nearby watching the scene unfold.

"Well, you feel sorry for the boat owner obviously. It wasn't anything they were expecting."

The owners of boats that went over the dam were encouraged to just count the destroyed vessels a loss.

The Hatfield fire captain says the boats will most likely stay at the bottom of the river.
