Elephant rescued from water trough

Added On November 23, 2016

This elephant was rescued almost in the last minute, after he fell into a ditch filled with water.
He reportedly got stuck while he was wondering in a national park in Zimbabwe earlier this month.
But luckily, two people who scout the area for poachers saw him just in time.
One of them held his trunk above the water so the animal wouldn't drown, while the other called for help.
A group of rescuers later pulled the big guy out with a tractor.
The air shepherd group, who posted this video, says the elephant would've died within minutes if its members hadn't seen him.
He was later released back into the wild.
