53 immigrants saved from sea off Spainish coast

 MADRID, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Spanish Maritime Rescue services on Saturday saved 53 immigrants from a dinghy 49 nautical miles off the cost of Malaga, Spanish media reported.

The rescue happened after 7 a.m. local time(0600 GMT) when authorities were alerted to the presence of the boat.
Forty-nine men, three women and a child, who were on board the ship, were saved by a patrol boat.
None of those saved needed medical attention so far and the patrol boat Salvamar Alnitak took the immigrants to Malaga, arriving at around 2 p.m. local time.
