The National Zoo in Washington is kicking off a series of events to say goodbye to its beloved panda.

"Bao Bao" is set to move to Chengdu, China next Tuesday. Her move has been planned since she was born, as a part of a long-standing agreement with China.

Events include a dumpling party and painting activities.

Zookeepers will also serve "Bao Bao" heart-shaped ice cakes.

"Bao Bao" will fly nonstop from Dulles, Virginia, to China, in a large crate on a plane named the "FedEx Panda Express."

Even though "Bao Bao" is leaving, the national zoo will still feature her brother, Bei Bei and her parents, Mei Xiang and Tian Tian.
