Weifang international kite festival

The 34th Weifang International Kite Festival and 13th World Kite Championships is taking place in Weifang, east China's Shandong Province. 
Let's take a look.
A total of 122 professional kite teams from 40 countries and regions attended the 3-day event.
This year's festival features events like its 10,000 people kite-flying performance, grand competitions and kite surfing performance.
The ten-thousand people kite flying performance is the world's largest kite performance by number.
Roger Martin, a professional kiter from Australia showed his skills to fly a spongebob squarepants kite.

Weifang, dubbed the "kite capital of the world," makes more than 60 percent of the world's kite annually, which are sold to more than 40 countries and regions. 
Many participants also noted that their kites were made by factories in Weifang.
