The Chinese Giant Panda Center announced the birth of twin pandas on Thursday, after mother Lin Bing gave birth to the cubs on Saturday.
Lin Bing was born in Thailand before being returned to China in 2013.
The panda cubs were born some seven hours apart on Saturday. The female cub weighed 170 grams, while her smaller brother weighed 159 grams.
Both of the cubs and their mother are doing well.
Lin Bing, born in 2009, is the daughter of the giant panda couple "Lin Hui" and "Chuang Chuang".
As she was the first giant panda to be born in Thailand, Lin Bing became one of the most popular animals in the country. She has two other cubs, having also given birth to twins in 2015.
