Through a mix of digital media, the exhibition examines the huge changes happening to cities globally and how their inhabitants are adapting in response.

"This exhibition is the first time that we curate an exhibition at the Museum of London that doesn't have any objects and collection items. And all the information comes from digital mechanical interactive films, videos and images."

One of the key exhibits is a nine-meter-wide film called Urban Earth.

The piece visualizes data from major cities around the world, comparing them on issues such as population size, public transport networks, CO2 emissions, green spaces, wealth, access to health care, and life expectancy.

According to the curator, the exhibition has been designed for all ages.

"So, what we wanted to do here is to create a very engaging exhibition and exhibition for everyone. And exhibition that it will engage younger kids and older people. And through this interactivity we want people to participate in the city to find and reflect on their relationships with a city and hopefully get inspired and become more proactive."

Hosted at the Museum of London, the exhibition runs until next January.
