Popular Russian Ice Cream Among Chinese

It's summer time and almost all the visitors here are treating themselves with ice-cream in Russia.

Let's have a look.

The favorite dessert is becoming more and more popular among Chinese.

It even became a national gift as Russian President presented to his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping during last year's G20 summit in Hangzhou.

"I think that the Chinese has a great taste. Yes we are selling our ice cream proudly for many years in the main store, which is right at the Red Square, we are also proud to be the partner of the operator selling the ice-cream in Kremlin for many years."

As the biggest ice-cream producer in Russia, "IceBerry" recently started exporting their products to China.

In their factory at the town of Penza, staff and machines are busy working - several sorts of ice-cream with different flavors are being cooked daily.

"the Russian Santa Claus will be our brand symbol in China. We are going to deliver our message to Chinese customers by placing production placement in the fridge."

On the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum this summer, Chinese companies showed great interest to Russian ice-cream.

Later the two sides signed an agreement and some samples were delivered to China by plane.

Last year this brand produced 33.5 thousand tones of the ice-cream, the largest volume ever produced by the company since almost 100 years.
