Added On September 1, 2017

When his troop marched through Tibet in 1954, the young soldier Ji Wenzheng met the Lonba and Lhoba people for the first time.

Two of China's smallest minorities, they remained hidden away in the remote mountains, away from the quickly changing world.

Ji took to recording their history, their songs and dress. And now, aged 80, he's published 34 books.
