Sydney walkers have a surprise on Monday, when a juvenile great white shark was washed up on famous Manly Beach.
The shark appeared to have injuries to its mouth and was in distress.
One man attempted to help the shark back into the water, but ultimately proved unsuccessful.
Sea experts were called in, who placed the shark into a sling and moved it to the Fairy Bower Pool.
Specialists from the aquarium swam with the shark in order to help it remain calm. They made preparations to move it to a suitable location back at their headquarters.
The shark was eventually transported back to the Sea Life Sanctuary.
