Giant pacific octopus in sw China turns one

A Giant Pacific octopus in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality has turned one year old.
Chongqing aquarium threw it a birthday party to mark the International Octopus Day on Sunday.
Giant Pacific octopus can have an arm span of up to 6 meters and weigh up to 50kg.
Three hearts help to pump blue, copper-based blood around their huge bodies.
There are two rows of suckers on each of their eight arms, which help them to sense the surroundings and hunt.
Because they have no skeleton, they can squeeze in and out of tiny spaces despite their sizes.
