China, indonesia deepen energy CO-CP

China and Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Monday, aiming at further deepening cooperation in energy and mineral resources sectors between the two countries. 
The signing was conducted by Director of China's National Energy Administration Nur Bekri and Indonesia's Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Ignasius Jonan. 
Addressing the event, Bekri said expansion of bilateral cooperation in the sectors between China and Indonesia would further empower each other and has very huge prospects that benefit the two sides. 
He said the cooperation would also secure energy reserves in both countries.

"Indonesian mineral export to China supported the Chinese market. Meanwhile, Chinese investment to Indonesia produces positive results to guarantee energy supply, jobs, and training for Indonesian workers. China is committed to increase investment to Indonesia and build good partnership with Indonesia in the future."
Prior to the signing of the MoU, Bekri and Jonan had a meeting in which Bekri expressed optimism on the future of energy cooperation with Indonesia.
