1st Silk Road NGO Cooperation Network Forum opens

The First Silk Road NGO Cooperation Network Forum kicked off on Tuesday in Beijing.
 
More than 300 NGOs from over 60 countries have joined the cooperation network.

"We are here at the First Silk Road NGO Cooperation Network Forum in Beijing, which is taking place over two days.The main aim of the network is to pool the resources of NGOs both in China and abroad, and it currently brings together about 300 NGOs from around 60 countries, including Tanzania, Pakistan and Romania."
 
Chinese President Xi Jinping attaches great importance to building a network for cooperation among the NGOs and sent the congratulatory letter to the forum.
 
Xi said NGOs along the Silk Road should contribute to enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between people of different countries, promoting common development, and building a community of shared future for mankind.
