Ancient ruins excavated in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region earlier this year are believed to be the vassal tombs of Shang and Zhou Dynasties.

The ruins are excavated in Panyang County, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
Judging from the ruins' size and rank, archaeologists have presumed the ruins to be vassal-class tombs.
Experts have considered the finding as one of significant discoveries in recent years, which can help study West Zhou Dynasty.
MA QIANG, Archaeologist said that "Through our excavation and exploration, we know the ruins' size, covering an area of over 600,000 square meters. The ruins have rich cultural connotation."
