The week-long Cuban Cigar Festival has come to an end.
During the event, cigar aficionados had the opportunity to see and taste novelties in the Cuban tobacco industry.
Lifestyle went to have a look.
Cuba's annual celebration of its cigar-making industry, the Habanos Festival, kicked off on Monday, drawing over 2,000 cigar aficionados and buyers from 70 countries.
The event ended on Friday with a gala dinner and a humidor auction, which raised almost 1.8 million dollars for the island's public health system.
Participants bid on the tobacco holders which are, in reality, true works of art.
Cigar lovers had the opportunity to present and try the newest products on the Cuban tobacco market, from emblematic brands like Montecristo and Cohiba.
The event also showcased famous Cuban music group Orishas, which hasn't performed on the island since 2009.
One of the humidors was bought by Alex Wong of Hong Kong for some 308,000 dollars.
Wong is a cigar lover who not only will take home a piece of art, but also an exclusive line of Cuban habanos made especially for the occasion.
"It's very exciting for me, this humidor is a beautiful piece of art. Not only do I have the honor to bring it home, but the money is for a really good cause."
The annual cigar festival in Cuba is considered one of the biggest events in the world for premium cigars.
