Official data showed that Egypt's annual urban inflation dropped to 14.3 percent in February.
The figure marked a sharp decline compared to 31.7 percent in the same month of 2017.
The country's annual inflation reached its highest in last July due to fuel and energy subsidy cuts and relevant price hikes.
The Egyptian government has taken a series of reforms to revive its economy.
It is expected that the inflation will gradually decline to 13 percent this fiscal year.
