Indonesian deadly earthquake

 The death toll from the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that hit the country on Sunday has now risen to 347.

Indonesia's national disaster management agency said the figure was based on the data from the hardest-hit North Lombok area on Lombok island.
 
Earlier reports said some 1,470 others had been injured, while over 4,000 visitors have been evacuated from three islands near Lombok.
 
Indonesian rescuers were increasing efforts to retrieve bodies buried under debris.

Indonesian authorities have initiated an emergency response to recover the victims and deliver aid to those affected by the deadly earthquake. 
 
Food, drinking water, blankets, mattress and clothes were distributed in make-shift shelters in hard-hit areas and remote villages nearby.
 
The powerful quake hit Indonesia's Lombok Island on Sunday with a depth of 15 km.
