A new stage for breeding a rare fish species.

Research on breeding acipenser dabryanus of the 3rd generation has been successfully completed in China.
The research has made breakthroughs in pure-artificial breeding of acipenser dabryanus.
It also makes a profound difference in preserving the species in the future.
The dabryanus, listed as a first-class national protected animal in China, are almost extinct in the world.
The latter half of last century has witnessed its rapid decline due to overfishing and other human activities.
China has spared no efforts to protect this valuable species since 1970s.
In April this year, over 60 thousand of the species were bred.
