Cuba's former soccer player Erick Hernandez has set a new world record for bouncing a ball between his feet nonstop, with a time of just over 3 hours.
On Saturday, the 52-year-old Cuban bounced the ball nonstop for 3 hours 2 minutes and 3 seconds. To make it a bit more challenging, Hernandez attached a 1 kilogram weight to each of his ankles.
The new record saw Hernandez destroy the earlier record of around 1 hour and 32 minutes, which was set by fellow Cuban Luis Carlos Garcia.
However, Garcia, the former record holder, isn't upset over his record being beaten. And he plans to attempt to break Hernandez' record next month.
Meanwhile, this October Hernandez will attempt to handle the ball with his head for as long as possible. And, at the end of the year, he will try handling it for as long as possible with his head and legs.
