Rome film festival unveils complete line-up

The complete line-up of the 2018 Rome Film Festival has been announced.

The schedule was unveiled in a press conference on Friday.
 
And "Bad Times at the El Royale", from American director Drew Goddard, was announced as the festival's opening movie.
 
The film stars Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges, along with Cynthia Erivo, Chris Hemsworth?and Dakota Johnson.
 
A total of 38 films and documentaries from 300 countries are in the Official Selection.
 
The festival will also include 7 pre-opening screenings, 13 tributes and restored film. 
 
This edition will feature a large presence of female directors, with 12 female filmmakers in the Official Selection.
 
The festival will be non-competitive, without jury and awards, and won't feature opening or closing ceremonies.
 
It will run at the Auditorium Parco della Musica complex in Rome, from the 18th to the 28th of October.
