Lynx rescued in NW China to return to wild

A lynx rescued in northwest China's Gansu province is preparing to return to the wild.
A large wildcat with a short tail, the lynx is one of China's national protected species.
Last May, the lynx was abandoned after birth. A herdsman discovered the lynx and informed the Gansu Yanchiwan National Nature Reserve Administration.
The rescued lynx is now being taken good care of at the wild life rescue station in Akesai County.
The lynx will receive wildlife exercises and will be returned to the wild once it's able to survive there by itself.
