Cambodia's largest stadium, which will be the main venue for the 2023 Southeast Asian Games, is being built in the capital city of Phnom Penh.
The stadium is one of the cooperative projects between Cambodia and China.
The stadium is being built by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation.
Construction work started last August, and about 40 percent of the stadium has been completed.
President of the Cambodian National Olympic Committee Thong Khon said that the project will be finished by the end of 2020.
He praised the Chinese company for using the latest technology and high-quality materials to construct the stadium.
He said the project had created 580 jobs for Cambodian and Chinese workers, and through it, Cambodian workers would get better experience in their construction skills.
