Syria intercepts israeli missiles toward damascus

 The Syrian army has said that its air defenses intercepted a number of Israeli missiles targeting areas near its capital, Damascus on Friday.

The Syrian army said the Israeli warplanes fired several missiles on the vicinity of Damascus.
A warehouse in the Damascus International Airport was damaged by the strike.
According to Syrian state TV, operations at the airport have continued as usual.
The Israeli attack, if confirmed, will be the latest in a string of missile strikes targeting the Syrian positions since 2011.
The last Israeli missile attack on Syria was carried out on December 25th. Those strikes targeted Syrian military depots in western Damascus.
