The bus was developed by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd (SINOTRUCK).

It has a world-class self-driving system. Radar, high-definition cameras and an intelligent computing system allow the bus to park, obey traffic signs and respond to roadblocks all on its own.

SOUNDBITE (Chinese): TIAN LEI, Automotive Electronic Design Department, SINOTRUCK
"With three lidars in the front, one in the back, plus 4 millimeter-wave radars and a set of high definition cameras all ensure the bus run smoothly."

During Tuesday's test run, the bus demonstrated that it's able to identify potential risks and accurately read street signs.
