Lebanese PM urges new ministers to unite

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri has stressed the need for all newly appointed ministers to work together to overcome all challenges facing the country.
Hariri made the remarks on Saturday during the first meeting for the council of ministers, which was aimed at forming a committee tasked with drafting the ministerial statement.
Hariri highlighted the need to implement urgent reforms, such as introducing new laws and fighting corruption and squandering of public money.
On Thursday, Lebanon announced the formation of a new government, breaking a nine-month political deadlock in the country.
