Israel Innovation Authority said Wednesday the program is aimed at technology start-ups established or managed by women.

Female executives who own at least 33 percent of their company can receive a government subsidy of up to 691,000 U.S. dollars in the first year, and 1,240,000 dollars?in the second year.
As part of the program, the Innovation Authority will also provide female entrepreneurs with relevant guidance and tools.
Only eight percent of all technological start-ups in Israel are led by women.
The new program is designed to reduce gender inequality and increase the number of women starting companies.
