Portugal's post office CTT has issued new stamps to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Portugal and China.

The two stamps feature two tea utensil sets with traditional Chinese and Portuguese cultural elements that reflect the traditional friendship between the two countries.
Speaking at a ceremony to mark the occasion, CTT CEO Francisco de Lacerda said the Portuguese and Chinese people have a long history of exchanges and friendship and that the commemorative stamps celebrate 40 years of diplomatic relations.
Chinese ambassador to Portugal Cai Run said that the commemorative stamps will help to build a bridge for future communication between the two peoples, and further promote friendship.
