BRI charts new course for int'l cooperation

China's permanent representative to the United Nations says the Belt and Road Initiative is charting a new course for international cooperation.
Ma Zhaoxu made the remarks during a high-level UN General Assembly meeting on Thursday. 
SOUNDBITE (Chinese/English): MA ZHAOXU, China's Envoy to UN:
"The Belt and Road Initiative has created significant job opportunities for countries along the route. In collaboration with relevant countries, China has established over 82 overseas cooperation parks, creating more than 300,000 jobs for local communities."
China's UN envoy said the second Belt and Road Forum on International Cooperation will be held in Beijing later this month.
