INTRO:
International jazz bands and singers from all over the world have gathered in Jordan's capital for The 8th Amman Jazz Festival.  Take a look.

The event kicked off Friday night in the city's Al Shams Theater.
 
Jordan's "One Heart" band delighted audience members during the jazz festival's opening event. The popular band has four musicians from Jordan, Syria and Lebanon and is led by experienced jazz player Omar al Faqir.

"Musician for all over the world recognize that there is an important jazz experience happening here in Jordan in particular and in the middle east and brining them all together from different nationalities it is not only about jazz it is about breaking all kind of boundaries and having all people perform together and give this music to all people for free."
 
Musical performances were held inside theaters as well as outdoors, in places like downtown Amman.
