Europe, China to explore space together

 The European Space Agency (ESA) is working together with China to unravel the mysteries of space.

 
ESA spokesman recently told CNC that cooperation is in the agency's DNA.

European Space Agency spokesman in Spain Javier Ventura-Traveset made the remarks in an exclusive interview with CNC on Monday.

"The agency has cooperation in its DNA. We work with all space agencies in the world and certainly China is so important and is a natural partner for us."
 
The spokesman said the agency is currently working on a program to discover extraterrestrial life.

"We have prestigious astrobiologists and we believe that in the next 10 or 20 years, with the technology and the objectives that we have already targeted, it should be possible to find biological activity, either in the solar system, on Mars, on the frozen moons of Jupiter, Saturn or on exoplanets. We believe that that this is happening."
