Lao scholar on exchanges between civilizations

 An international relations expert at the National University of Laos says that exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations can act as a bridge of friendship and help drive human progress. 

The director of the China Studies Center of the National University of Laos made the remarks during an interview with CNC.

"The Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations is significant because there are many different civilizations in the world. Particularly in Asia, civilizations are diversified and ancient.This conference is a chance to enhance understanding, since it promotes people-to-people exchanges, international trade, tourism, etc. The conference will also help each nation preserve and develop its native culture and boost exchanges between different civilizations, especially in Asia."
