Added On May 19, 2019

Now we go to Japan. Established in 1998, the Otsuka Museum of Art is a "Ceramic board masterpiece art museum" with the largest exhibition space in the country. Let's take a look.

Inside, there are more than 1,000 replicas of priceless masterpieces of Western art, from ancient murals to modern paintings, and collections from more than 190 art museums worldwide.
These masterpieces are replicated to their original size by a Japanese ceramics company using special techniques.
The art pieces allow visitors to appreciate the true artistic value of the original works.
Compared to the original masterpieces, the ceramic replicas can maintain their colors and shapes for over 2,000 years, which contributes to preserving the history of cultural treasures.
The Otsuka Museum of Art is considered to be the world's first and only ceramic art museum.
