2019 Goldfish Art Exhibition in Tokyo

According to the organizer, over 550,000 people are expected to visit this year's expo. Since its debut in 2011, the exhibition has attracted over 9.5 million visitors from around the world.

"My friend posted pictures of the exhibition on social media. I think it's super beautiful, so I wanted to come to see it. I Actually live in Florida, but I really wanted to see this, so I'm here."
The exhibition features a total of 20,000 goldfish in a variety of different themed tanks. The fish are showcased with a combination of light, shadow, music and fragrance.           
During the Edo period, watching and catching goldfish were popular summer activities in Japan.
