ZTE's new Cybersecurity Lab Europe will provide a wide range of access and external security verification of ZTE’s products, services and processes, and will facilitate international cooperation with stakeholders in the security field.

The opening of the lab is an important part of ZTE's transparency initiative.

The lab has four essential functions including source code review, document review, black box testing and penetration testing.

ZTE will partner with industry-leading security organizations to conduct in-depth research of security issues at the lab.

Moreover, the lab will play a significant role in guaranteeing the security of the company's 5G products.

ZTE's chief security officer said the cybersecurity lab offers global customers, regulators and other stakeholders greater transparency through verification and communication.
