Sixty-six-year-old Chinese artist, Wan Jiyuan, has brought his work to the Cairo Amman Bank International Symposium, which was held in Amman, the capital of Jordan.  Let's take a look.

Wan's artworks showcase the famous archaeological site of Petra in Jordan, as well as some scenes from the lives of ordinary Chinese people.

"I've been to Petra recently where I was extremely amazed by the ancient civilizations there. I've also found signs of cultural exchanges among various civilizations, especially the ancient Silk Road linking the East and the West."
Wan said that the cultural exchanges between China and Arab countries have been promoted greatly. Every year, dozens of Arab artists will visit China, where they will see great changes, as well as how Chinese artists are doing their work.
