The 20-minute show was held on Friday in front of a 72-meter-tall brass statue of Confucius, with famous sayings from the Analects of Confucius and examples of life stories projected on a 100-meter-wide water curtain.

The show also marked the start of night tours at Qufu city's Nishan Sacredland, a cultural attraction that was opened to the public last year. Traditional cultural and sports games will be available during the night tours this summer.
Qufu is the birthplace of Confucius and the home of the world's tallest Confucius statue.
Confucius lived between 551 and 479 B.C.  The famous Chinese educator and thinker has influenced countless generations of people in China and around the world.
