16 tons of German beer shipped to Qingdao for beer festival

The 29th Qingdao International Beer Festival, the largest of its kind in China, is scheduled to start on July 26 and last through Aug 18.
 
16.2 tonnes of beer has been imported from Germany ahead of the event.
 
On top of great tasting local and German beer, barkeeps at this year's festival will be selling more than 1,400 types of beer from around the world.
 
The festival, held in the coastal city of Qingdao, the birthplace of China's renowned beer brand Tsingtao, received 6.2 million tourists last year.
