China's tech giant Huawei has said it will continue to challenge the constitutionality of U.S. ban on federal agencies from purchasing the company's telecom gears ina federal court.
Huawei said the U.S. ruling, a part of a defense law passed last year, was "not unexpected."
In a statement, the company said the law will do nothing to ensure the protection of U.S. telecom networks and systems and rather is a trade barrier based on country-of-origin.
Ultimately, rural citizens across the U.S. whose digital networks rely on Huawei will be most negatively influenced.
