Anastasiia is apprenticed by local artists at Jinlin Studio, which established a practice base together with Repin Academy of Fine Arts.
It is the third year for the studio to welcome students from Repin to do an internship.
"Our task is to provide illustrations for a book about twelve Chinese zodiac signs. We will try our best to show this traditional Chinese culture through our own perspective."
The studio organizes various activities and also serves as a bridge for cultural exchanges between China and Russia.
XU JINLIN, Creative director of Readers' Jinlin studio:
"I think cultural exchange is the most valuable lesson. To those Russian students learning about traditional Chinese culture and Gansu's local culture it is quite important."
