Australia National Science Week kicks off

An all-things-science community event was held on Saturday at the Shine Dome in Canberra, which included the family-friendly InterACTive Science in the afternoon, followed by InterACTive Science: After Dark, which features adult-targeted content in the evening.
Both events featured interactive presentations, hands-on activities, engaging stalls, food stalls among others to showcase STEM.
JILLIAN BROWNING, Communication coordinator of Science Week in ACT region:
"National Science Week is an event across Australia, showcasing science to everyone. We are showing all the different variety of science that has happened in Australia. It is a way for the general public to get involved to science event across the country."
The Science Week will last till the 18th August.
