Central gov't spokesperson denounces violent acts at HK airport

The spokesperson said, quote, "recent days have seen that the violent radicals in Hong Kong completely crossed the bottom line of law, morality and humanity, and flagrantly committed severe violent crimes, which are shocking and chilling."
 
The spokesperson said "we firmly support the Hong Kong police force and judicial organs in enforcing the law resolutely, administering justice strictly and bringing criminals to justice as soon as possible."
 
CENTRAL GOV'T LIAISON OFFICE STRONGLY CONDEMNS VIOLENCE
 
"The Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region also expressed extreme indignation and strong condemnation over the violent acts at the Hong Kong International Airport."
 
The office said in a statement that the inhumane violent acts showed a total disregard of the law and an infringement on human rights, overstepping the bottom line of a civilized society. 
 
The violent acts are no different from the atrocities committed by terrorists.
 
CHINESE JOURNALISTS ASSOCIATION DENOUNCES SEVERE VIOLENCE
 
The All-China Journalists Association (ACJA) has also voiced strong indignation and condemnation over the besieging and assault of a mainland reporter by some violent protesters at the Hong Kong International Airport Tuesday night.
 
HONG KONG POLICE ARREST 5 PEOPLE
 
The Hong Kong police said on Wednesday that they have arrested five people involved in unlawful assembly at the Hong Kong International Airport.
 
Radical protesters held an unlawful assembly at the airport on Tuesday evening. 
 
A mainland reporter and a mainland traveler were assaulted and unlawfully detained.
 
According to the Hong Kong police, the radical protesters carried out a series of extreme acts at the airport such as assaulting and torturing people, obstructing relief work, jostling passengers and disregarded human lives.
