Expert:China-India trade cooperation mutually beneficial

In a recent interview with CNC, an Indian expert said China and India are highly complementary to each other and should expand cooperation in many areas.

"India and China are both facing a lot of protectionism in other markets like the U.S.. So there are certain commonalities where India and China can partner together."
 
In some area especially infrastructure investment if we can collaborate there will be a benefit. 
 
The expert noted both countries should keep an open mind for cooperation.

"China is doing a lot of investment in robotics and other technologies into manufacturing and that is where India can learn from china and replicate those models. I think there are many areas in which India and China can collaborate. Like for example, India has a lot of strength in software and China has it in hardware. We have to keep an open mind for the collaborations."
